Intro: Dating Today

We kicked off our first episode of the 'Dating Today' podcast hosted by Brock Olsen: The Dating Expert, by welcoming the Single Connect FB group who were tuning in live. Co-hosted by Carlos and guest appearance by Maraa, we discussed some of the more common topics and issues we face in modern dating.

We talked about the following dating issues:

*Dating apps and how we often struggle to transfer a genuine approach from those platforms to in person dates.

*The benefits and downfalls of social media and it leads us to unnaturally treat others due to preconceived notions we gain from doing social media stalking.

*Ghosting- why we do it, what we hope to gain/avoid?

*Hang-out culture and how it gets you placed in the friend zone or strung along.
